Following a total socio-economic or environmental collapse, the majority of people will panic. Looting, rioting, and violence will become the norm as gangs of man begin to form and fight over resources. Look at what happened in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and now imagine that there was no government to keep things “somewhat” together, what if the help didn’t come? The only ones to survive such a scenario would be the prepared survivors and the ones that can quickly adapt to the new rules and make the best of their new environment.
Preparing for the future can not be over looked. You may not have the financial resources to purchase equipment or stockpile a ton of food and that’s entirely alright, for having a plan between family and friends and preparing yourself psychology and physically are more important then anything else.
