Your EDC load-out is your greatest force multiplier in your day to day life. It should contain items that extend your abilities the to the furthest in exchange for it’s size/weight. A knife and lighter as an example are perfect as together can be used to assist you in producing everything you would need in an urban survival situation. The EDC is the bare minimum of what you need to survive.
The experts here at Urban Survival Network have come together to assemble this check list of items we recommend for your EDC. Depending on where you live you’ll want to make some changes, for instance if you live in a dessert you might want to consider having a brimmed hat or a water bottle on this list. Depending on climate and what’s legal, this checklist will have to be modified to best suit your urban survival needs.
Sh#t can hit the fan can happen at any moment, while you’re at store shopping for groceries, while in your car driving to work, or perhaps while you’re enjoying a walk in the park. If you care about your family and own personal survival, you’ll want to take your EDC seriously. For those who don’t know, EDC is short for Every Day Carry (the items you carry with you when going out). This list is of course on top of all the normal standard things you would carry such as house keys and your wallet with various identification cards.
